Wolverine PDF Tulosta Sähköposti

The wolverine is a solitary, shy wilderness traveller seen extermely rarely in nature. The wolverine feeds on the scraps of the kills of other predators, such as bears and wolves. It can also hunt smaller animals, sometimes even wild reindeer, even though the wolverine is not an efficient hunter. The wolverine tends to roam the same familiar territory, which makes it possible to lure a wolverine to visit kills at a screened hut regularly. The wolverine visits kills all year round but there is enough light for proper viewing and photography from late winter to autumn. The wolverine usually moves at night or already early in the evening. Sometimes bear visits the kill too. The hut is situated about 600 m from the road.
